Temporary 820 - moving overseas

Hi there,

So, I am an Australian citizen and my partner is Brazilian and he is on the temporary partner visa (820).

I have an oppourtunity to study for an MBA in Europe, which would be amazing for career and our life and so we are hoping/planning to move together for the year so I can study and he will financially support me.

How does this impact our 801 visa?
Advice?

Thanks,

Elisabeth

Hey,

I moved overseas with my partner when I was on my 820. It was not an issue at all as long as you stay together and can prove it for second stage.

There may be issues with an AAT review if the permanent visa is refused and you are not in Australia. Other than that you can be onshore or offshore as you like.
