Will Updating EOI would change "Date of effect"

Dear All,

I have submitted my EOI for visa 189 on 15/8/2018 with points of 65. My English points is 10 as i my PTE score is 65+ each section, i am planing to do the exam again next month to score 79+ (each section) , and then update EOI so my total point will be 75. Assuming that i get the target score and updated my EOI on next the month, will the "Date of effect" be changed to the updated date, or it will remain as 15/8/2018 ?

Thanks
Maan

I hope you are studying hard for your English test. You can update your EOI if you can improve your English score. I am not sure whether it changes the Date of Effect. If you can score 75 points you will likely get an invitation within a couple of months
