Yellow fever Certificate to enter Australia

Hi everyone,

I am going to Colombia for vacation over the Christmas holidays and I have read on the Department of Health website( Department of Health | Yellow fever - general fact sheet) that "If you are arriving in Australia from a yellow fever risk country but do not hold a vaccination certificate, you will still be permitted to enter Australia."

I just wanted to double check with some experts here that I can stay assured and do not need to get any vaccination as I almost died when I was a kid and Yellow fever can only be transmitted in the jungles and so on and I will be only visiting the main cities which are all risks-free.

Many thanks.
