Exiting and enter on a tourist visa - urgent

I am on the process of 309/100 and currently in Australia with my daughter on a multiple temporary visa I need to exit the country every 3 weeks
At the moment I am at the Perth airport exiting the country Australia going to Bali and enter Australia tomorrow morning after 17 hours later .
I been told by my agent there is no time limit to enter again as long I have exited the country , I just want to make sure this again ,
Thanks
Jay

If your agent is a registered migration agent, take the advice.

All tourist visas have a last entry date.

Overnight stays may cause problems on re- entry.

The stay period is very strange.

I had a 1 year visitor visa with multiple reentry that only let me stay for 3 months at a time. I left and reentered soon after and they pulled me to one side and asked me the reason for my visit. They took my phone and searched all my messages and interviewed me for my purpose. They asked to see evidence I could financially support myself.

If they find anything on your phone that leads them to believe you were/are working (my visa didn't allow me to work) or are planning to get married (on the tourist visa) then this will be a problem for you. Also they told me the purpose of my visa was for tourism and that if I wanted to visit for longer than 3 months, that there are more appropriate visas I should have applied for with a longer duration such as the 600, where a case officer is assigned and they assess you, they literally told me I was abusing the system by using the tourist visa in this way. So technically it was "allowed" and they let me go that 1 time, but it wasn't a cake walk and I got very a strong impression they wouldn't have allowed me to keep doing it.

Not my intention to counter anything you have been advised, I just want to tell you my ad-hoc personal experience so you have some idea of what to expect in worst case scenario.

The purpose of a multiple entry tourist visa is to enable people to travel the region via Australia, not to create extended stays. So for example, a visit to Australia, then NZ, then back to Australia, then maybe Fiji or Bali and so on. Or several trips between Australia and home country.

Of course everybody knows that is not what people do and it is tolerated up to a certain degree. It may go without a hitch for a while or you may get pulled up as the previous poster just described. I know people who have done overnight returns without any issues, but in my view it is asking for trouble.

Whatever you do, be careful about what's on your phone or other devices and what you post on social media.

Cheers for all your replies, I got back without any trouble , I was so worried at the immigration counter, I have seen on boarder protection program people been pulled over and asking questions even though they got a valid visa
I was prepared if they questioned me at the immigration ,
Everything went well , appreciate all your replies
Cheers
