190/489 settlement costs

Hi,
I am after some advice about the 190 or 489 state nominated visa. Specifically for Queensland, i must have completely bypassed this little gem of information previously
https://migration.qld.gov.au/latest-...-requirements/
I appreciate funds are required, is this a requirement for all Visas or just state nominated does anyone know? Or has anyone been sucsessful and not needed the full 30k. (I am applying or will be from offshore).
Thanksin advance 🙂

This only applies to the state sponsored visas. Each state has its own additional requirements.

Ok, Thank you. 30k to take with me seems a little excessive. Best start saving!
Do you know if they take into account anyone who you will be staying with? For example i am moving to be with my partner but am unable to get a partner visa due to us being unable to prove the 2 years so.. as he is earning could that be taken into account?

If you go to the relevant state migration pages, you will find detailed information about what is required and what sort of evidence is accepted. If you can't figure it out, you can try and ask them directly or talk to a Registered Migration Agent who is familiar with state nominated visas.
