Talking Break out the champagne!!!!!!!!

WE GOT IT!!!!!!

We are still totally pinching ourselves because we only applied for our de facto visa 3 weeks ago and we got it already!!!!!

The Aus Embassy in South Africa never asked us for an interview or anything and we didnt even have any sort of communication with a case officer.....only an email saying that we should see the attatched approval letter! So HAPPY!!!!!

Can't wait to get over to Aus. Will be there in time for Xmas and my friends wedding! No idea what we were so stressed about now...haha.

Just want to say a very big thankyou to everyone who helped answer our many queries. Seems like it really paid off! A special thanks particularly to Wanderer, Mike and elkitten....you guys are great, we can't thank you enough!

Thanks so much again. x

LovedUp

P.S Best of luck to everyone else on this forum! It might just be easier than you think.

Great news Loved Up and I'll have a drink for you and for elkitten, it'll not be long until it's your turn.

Congratulations, but with a long history together it was a done deal!

Thank you for the well wishes people! I can't wait to get over to Aus! It's been four years since I've been home....the things you do for love! Haha

How's things going with your application elkitten? Any good news yet? Hope it comes quickly for you too! Where are you planning on living when you and your man get to Aus?

Lenore, I am in Namibia at the moment, that's where my boyfriend is from. We applied through the Australian Embassy in South Africa because there is no embassy here in Namibia. How about you?

Cheers again guys! x
