PMV Subclass 300 Grant

Hi Everyone,

Just want to say thank you to all the help people give on here, it’s been invaluable to me while lodging my application.

Just got my subclass 300 visa granted today after just under 8 months from London. Here is my timeline:
Applied: 25 June 2018
Medicals requested: 25 June 2018
1st Request for info: 16 November 2018
2nd Request for info: 23 January 2019
Granted: 19 February 2019

The requests for more information were regarding my fiancé as he spent time in a high risk country.

Im not sure what exactly made my visa get granted before the stated 14 months wait but I will offer some advice.

Make your documents very easy to follow e.g. add a contents page with hyperlinks. Put yourself in their shoes, they know nothing about your relationship.

Also stay positive while waiting, as hard as it is.

Here is a list of the relationship evidence documents I uploaded aside from the obvious ones and my fiancés family statutory declarations (we did 3).
By no means is this a perfect example of what to upload, not even sure if it was all necessary but this is just what we did to help give you some ideas 😊
Acknowledgement of Sponsor in Applicants Thesis. Airbnb Reviews of Applicant and Sponsor. Chat Logs between Applicant and Sponsor. Detailing our Relationship on Social Media. Family Response to Engagement. Gifts Exchanged between Applicant and Sponsor. Joint Travel Bookings. Relationship Evidence Update Jan 2019. Flight Tickets to visit Sponsor. Joint Bank Account Documents. Letter from Priest. Notice of Intended Marriage. Updated NOIM. Photos of the Applicant and Sponsor. Statement from Applicants Mother. Statement from Applicants Sister.

Its not stated as a 14 month wait - its 75% of applications are processed within 14 months. So the majority of applications are processed within this timeframe - which could be 1 day, 1 month, 6 months or 14 months. They all fall into the same category.

Congrats by the way!

Congratulations on the grant. It must be a truly relieving feeling knowing that the hardest and most uncertain stage is over and that
you can continue on with your life.
