Bridging Visa A HELP! (Partner Visa)

Hello,

I'm currently on a bridging visa A which expires April 17 2019.
I applied for a skilled visa which got denied.

Me and my boyfriend (who is australian) are going to do the partner visa. I am currently in Australia.

I was told I have to leave the country to apply for another visa? Is this true?
Or can i apply for it in australia?

If i apply for it, will i automatically go on the bridging visa?

If you are applying for a partner visa in Australia as the holder of a bridging visa, you will have to meet additional (schedule 3) requirements. Unless there are some exceptional circumstances that apply to you, you will find it nearly impossible to satisfy schedule 3 requirements.

For many people in your situation, it is a far better option to apply for a partner visa offshore.

Have you considered appealing the refusal? If you do, you could possibly apply for a bridging visa B, go offshore to lodge a partner visa and then return to Australia while waiting for your appeal.

I suggest you get some professional advice as soon as you can.
