Sponsor Documents for 309 Visa

Hi Everyone,

We have recently applied for a 309 visa.

For the sponsor portion of the application, does the sponsor need to attach the documentation under the sponsor application or since the sponsor name is mentioned under the 309 applicant can we attach all the doucmentation for sponsor under the main 309 application under sponsor name

Hi

I started to do it under the separate Sponsor area then realised that the Sponsor area under the main 309 was more practical.

Cheers

For my PMV 300, I uploaded my fiancée's (sponsors) documents within my application and then only uploaded an index of those uploads on her application, indicating that they were uploaded on mine.

I generally upload everything under the visa applicant's application. Applicant's documents under the applicant section, sponsor's documents under the sponsor section.

I would only upload under the sponsor's application if I'd run out of room, which is nearly impossible with an allowance of 200 documents.

I find it easier to keep everything under the one application and I can't see the point of uploading the same document twice.

LadyRogueRayne and aussier like this.

Hi CCMS, is the current attachment limit 200 documents? As far as I am aware we could attach upto 60 documents. Am I right?

On the applicant there is 100 max, on sponsor 60 max. So 160 total - I've used 49 slots in total and there are several docs that I could have combined into one and used less.

Thank you for this information. I wasn't aware of this new attachment number. Cheers

It is 100 for the visa applicant and another 100 for the sponsor, when you are in the visa application.

I am therefore assuming that you can upload 200 documents under the visa application, but in 12 years of practice I have never needed that many.

When you go to the separate sponsor application it says maximum 60 documents. Not sure if that is in addition to the ones you can upload under the visa application, but I am assuming it may be.

I am a bit confused now.

To submit the Partner visa online application, the applicant has to submit documents (100 attachments limit) from his/her immi account and sponsor has to submit sponsor documents (100 attachments limit) from their immi account?
