Hi all,

My husband was asked to provide an questionnare in regards to support and waive the police clearance that he could npt provide to his past residence country. Therefore the officer emailed us with questions he needs to answer and were not sure if he just answers them on a word office or there's a special form for such thing???

Thanks

If it were me, I'd answer the questions on an official Stat Dec.

A statutory declaration is usual.
This is not a considered professional opinion .

Its due tomorrow... not sure what to do. They only have us a few days while we were on a vacation and just got back and saw it. They didn't mention anything about a stat declaration.. They just said to answer the questions

I would answer as a statutory declaration! Then it is an offical statement! It's worth the effort to make a stat dec rather than risk it.

Type everything up on a stat dec, get it witnessed and submit it. At the least, send them an email stating that you just got back from a holiday and will submit the stat dec as soon as you've had it witnessed. As long as you communicate with them within the time line they've given you, that usually satisfies them that you are complying with their request.
