Question after PMV is granted?

Hi, so I just got my PMV (prspective marriage visa 300) granted and wanted to ask what i need to do now. I know I need to open a bank account as soon as i get there and also apply for a TFN. Is there anything else?

Once you arrive, you need to get married, apply for the 820/801 and you'll also need to apply for Medicare at that point as well.

Something to consider when opening accounts ... married name or current name? For us, first the marriage and Family name change will allow joint accounts/finances etc. and avoid name changes later such as with Government agencies, banks, driving licence etc. and any other name/identity related business.

Of course you can keep your current name and not change it upon marriage which voids everything I just typed.
