Onshore Carer Visa - Marital Status in Applicants Form

Hi, Everyone

Im on a process for onshore carer visa application. I have questions in putting information in given forms for the main applicant. Me and my husband already separated for almost 1 year, but I have no docs to prove by this time that we are already separated. Considering that all my ID's are still using his last name. May I ask if what be the best thing to do regarding this matter. If i put married in my status in the application form, it requires all the details of my partner.

Thank you.

Always tell the truth when completing your application. You are married, and therefore you must choose that option. The penalties for providing misleading information are severe.

If the option is there and it correctly reflects your current circumstances , you can use “separated” as marital status.

They may. You should always try and back up any information you provide with relevant evidence.

Thank you so much.

As I fill-up the application form, there was an info there regarding my partners details, and asking for gis passport details. My partner has no passport yet, should I leave it blank first. Or what should be the best thing to do.
