PMV- Advice

Hi,

My fiancé lodged his PMV application on the weekend and we have some questions in regards to the documents we need to provide now.

1. Do we upload form 888 (supporting witness statements) now or wait for them to contact us?

2. Does my fiancé (the applicant) need to submit Form 80 (Personal Particulars..) ?

3. Will the department conduct a phone interview for sure or is it only for clarification, and, he has requested an interpreter does that mean that they will contact him?

Any advice/help on this would be greatly appreciated because we are both feeling overwhelmed by the amount of documents we need to attach.

Despina

You should really have sorted this out before lodging the application.

The relationship evidence should relate to the period before lodgement and should be added as soon as possible.

Don’t worry about form 80, medicals or police certificates for yourself at this stage.

Your sponsor should have organised police certificates already.

Don’t fret about interviews right now. They are not all that common, but can be quite thorough.

Hi Nick,

I appreciate you taking the time to reply to my questions. We already have the supporting witness declarations ready and signed but we were just unsure whether we should upload them now.
Do you think we should wait until they contact my fiancé for his health examination?
Also, I asked about Form 80 because we saw that it is a requirement on the information page for this visa. Should my fiancé be the only one that submits one because he is the applicant?

Kind Regards,
Despina

Upload all evidence you have straight away. Don’t wait until they ask for it.

Only the visa applicant needs to complete form 80 and it is not really required straight away, so take your time completing it and add it after all the more urgent stuff has been taken care of.

Thank you very much for your help, it all seems a lot clearer now.

So if form #80 in the list of recommended documents to upload it's not necessarily means that I need to fill it? Better wait till CO will contact me and request it if needed?

Thank you,
Anna

Doesn't hurt to have. May prevent further delays.
Rather have and not need than need and not have.
