Sponsor police report

My partner and i are just about to apply for his 309 visa! However i had a doubt about my AFP police check (sponsor). I currently live in Ecuador with my partner and have been since 2017. To apply for my Ecaudorian visa i needed a police check so my question is can i reuse this police check in our application? or do i have to apply for a new one as it is a few years old? Keep in mind i haven't returned to Australia in this time.

You need to apply for a new one. The website is pretty clear it needs to be line 33 for immigration purposes and they are valid for 12 months from the date listed on the check.
