Traveled on a BVA

Hello All!

Admittedly i was on the wrong to travel outside AU on a BVA (i did not know i couldn't and i was stupid for not checking). I was advised and i have also seen on this thread that i can apply for a tourist visa, get back to Sydney and have it reinstated. Assuming it gets approved, i will only get my BVA back after my tourist visa lapses.

Thing is, i need to go abroad again in a little less than 4 months (October) and i am afraid of the following:
Can i apply for a tourist visa now and save on money and just leave on October after the event? Will my application for my PR be rejected? Is there a chance that the reinstatement of my previous application be null and void?

In short, my genuine concern is that, if i leave on a tourist visa now, wait for 3 months for my bva to be reinstated, apply for a bvb, what if my bvb is rejected and i cannot travel abroad in October?

Or, i can just go back to AU and fix everything in October -- but will my previous application lapse? Will i start my application for PR all over again?

I hope somebody can help me. I really am on a rut because of my stupidity

May I suggest that you consult one of the registered migration agents who posts on this forum for advice about your possible strategies?

Update

So i just wanted to post an update here as to what happened to me.

As mentioned, i travelled on a bva and when i was checking in the airport to get back to Sydney, i was offloaded. I was confused, desperate, and many more mixed emotions due to my lapse.

As advised here, i have seeked the help of a migration agency.

I was advised to get a tourist visa, which i did and consequently completed my PR requirements - medical, police check in AU and from my local country.

I have then lodged my tourist visa app and completed my requirements for my PR before the deadline.

My tourist visa was granted last week and i have booked a ticket for Sydney.

I have arrived yesterday - ready to bide my time for 3 months (without work) to get my bva reinstated. Also hoping that i can go abroad again in October.

Lo and behold. I got a call from my migration agent today - my PR visa has been granted.

Thanks for the advise that i got here.

Congratulations. Great to hear about a positive outcome.
