Hi all....a very worried mother going out of my mind, need some advice please if any of you can...

We (myself, husband, daughter and son) are here currently on a temporary 489 visa, we applied for permanent residency (887 visa) august 2018 and still waiting for approval for that. I have just read online, that my son who is 23 and still dependent on us will not be included as he is too old now. As you can understand, I'm going crazy with worry that he will get sent back to the UK. Has anybody else been in this situation, and what did you do?? Need some options

Don’t believe everything you read online. There is an exception for just this situation.

That, assuming he holds the 489 as a member of your family unit and was included in the 887 application, then he will continue to be considered a family member even though he has now turned 23.

Yes he is included on the original 489 visa, we included him on the 887 which was submitted august 2018 at which time my son was 22
