Still on further assessment. Has it been more than 28 days since you submitted the RFI? And did you email the case officer back to inform them you have gotten what they asked for?

I'm so confused and unsure if I have to do anything else after attaching my receipts in my immi account.

You just click the button to say you have submitted the requested documents and then.. wait.

Some people get a quick response (a few days or weeks), others just keep waiting again.

The only consistent thing about the Australian Embassy Manila is its inconsistency ! Been like that for the 35 years I have been dealing with them, hardly likely to change.

Hope all of us in the list you sent will get updates soon. It has been a very very verrrryyy long wait. Will it do any good if we call them after the 28 days for the RFI is up?

Please update your flag here .

Seems like it takes more than a year before they get their visa approved. I thought it would've been faster 😢
I am just about to start gathering the documents. We are planning to apply offshore, I'm in the Philippines while he's back in Perth cause we both have to work.
May I ask some things:
1. Do I have to obtain, aside from NBI clearance, a police clearance from Australia if i have been there on a one year student visa last year?
2. Is it possible if my husband applies for our bank joint account even if I'm here?

Please let me know. Thanks!

The Philippines is probably one of the slowest embassies for the 309 (and 300) at the moment.

If there was any chance of a tourist visa and an onshore 820 Partner visa, I would try to consider that.
