Subclass 820 Sponsor questions

Hi,

I have a question regarding what I should put for my sponsors residential address on my 820 application.

We have recently arrived in Australia from the UK where we both lived. My wife is an Australian citizen as is our 2 year old daughter, I am here on a evisitor Visa.

For my current residential address I put our old address in the UK and gave our Australian address as my postal address.

For the sponsors residential address ( my wife) should I put the same UK address or should I put the Australian address?

Is it an issue having different addresses even if we arrived here together?

Is there any chance, if we have the same uk res address that we wont be eligible for the onshore 820 visa and have to return tand do the offshore partner Visa?

Alternatively I could put the Australian address as both of our residential addresses?

Many Thanks,

Will

If you are both living in Australia now and you are going to lodge a partner visa in Australia, you should use the Australia residential and postal address for the both of you.

You MUST use the address where you are currently residing, or your application will be invalid.

THEY already know where you are!
