Australian Citizen Moving to NZ with Parent

I am planning to relocate to NZ with my mother who does not hold an Australian/NZ PR. Her passport is not from a visa-free country i.e. she would need a visitor visa for both Aus/NZ.

I could apply for a fast track 'Contributory Aged Parent' visa if I decided to stay put in Australia, however, I would like to move to NZ permanently and want her to live with me there. So how can I get her a long-term temporary or permanent visa for NZ?

Any feedback would be much appreciated.

Maybe better to ask in a NZ forum , but the options are laid out here:

You need to have been resident in NZ for three years to sponsor her for a permanent visa.
