Unhappy VISA 189 NZ Stream - Status Finalised but only grant for main applicant

Hi guys,

My partner applied for the 189 New Zealand stream visa and he added me to the application.

Today we paid the 2nd VAC and he got his visa granted letter straight away.
It says the Application is Finalised, although I didn't get any email/message with a decision for me.

Is it normal?

Thank you

How much did you guys pay in total? Was your name on the application from the very beginning when he applied? Or were you added at a later time?

Have you checked your VEVO account? If you don't have one, create one. You can view your current visa there. If it still says bridging then I think you should call them.

Yes, my VEVO account is still showing my current visa 457... I call them yesterday, apparently, I have to wait for a decision for my visa even though my partner got his one.

When you log in to Immiaccount and go to the "Messages" tab - is there any grant notification there for both of you, or still just for your partner?

What about the status on Immiaccount, is it "finalised"?

That is odd, perhaps it is worth sending in a feedback form via the DHA website too.

Might be worth emailing DHA too via any email address on the primary applicants grant letter / [email protected] / [email protected]

Yes, it says finalised. "This application has been finalised. Please refer to messages."

I was looking for an email address but I can't find any...

where did you get those emails from?

Under the Messages tab - what is listed?

I've seen those email addresses floating around on the net and quite a few applicants have had reasonable success corresponding with the department through them.
