VISA DELAYS - tourist visa

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone else is outside the 90% of applicants who are not getting answers about their visa application within the time frame?

Just trying to get an estimated time frame, my partner applied for the tourist visa to come to australia, and we submitted it with our agent 31/july/2019 and the last time it was updated was either by our agent or the immigration back on sept 5. my partner does have some character issues on his file, but he is eligible for ETA. (we werent able to go this route as he made a mistake applying for his second ETA) so i do understand character issues take a bit longer.

however our agents have also notifed us that there is a backlog with the australian government. Just wondering how long has everyone else been waiting or how long have you been currently waiting for?
