Expiry of biometrics?

I just realized that my biometrics were completed nearly 6 months ago. Can anyone tell me how long biometrics are good for? I didn't think they would ask for them so long before making a decision.

Our 10 year anniversary celebration is going to be much more chill than I hoped. Things are just too uncertain to make any plans and I am so bummed out I am kind of tearing up as I write this. (I know this has nothing to do with my main post, but if anyone can sympathize, it's the folks on this forum).

Thx for reading.

I dont think ur finger prints is updated every year 😂, or unless maybe u had some nose job or some form of job done on your face then you will have to request for an update on your biometrics....a joke!😂. But honestly no need for an update of biometrics once done. That it

Don't worry M&A
I called the immi helpline back in September when I realised my partner's medical was over 12 months ago in August and the police clearance had just hit 12 months.
They told me the medical would not be asked for again.
But not such guarantee on the clearance.
Just hope now I have submitted for decisions they won't ask again

Her visa would already be granted if they had not insisted on a clearance for the non-travelling 16yo son.
