189 long Processing time oct 2019

hey guys

anyway still waiting to be granted the 189? points tested stream
I applied January 23rd 2019! onshore with a offshore spouse (anyone else in this situation?) I have been requested for additional information twice the last request was july. I responded the very next day on both instances. still waiting for the grant though. The processing time now is crazy....
18-33 months, like WTF. Whats going on at immi guys any theories???

From what I have seen, no-one with under 80 points is getting through at the moment. And in September, that became 85 points.

I don't know much about how the 189's work though.

If you had request for information not already provided, unfortunately that means you did not have a decision ready application, and processing will take longer.

The 18-33 months is not the average processing time, just how long it took for the previous month - it varies widely as DHA resources are moved around it seems - and more so at the moment I suppose given the new GSM visas that will be rolled out.

Hang tight, good news is you are in the system
