Sponsor question

Do sponsors need to attach a letter of employment and payslips as proof for the partner visa subclass 309?

It would be helpful if attached. It shows sponsor is financially capable.

Yes really, there are no financial requirements for sponsoring your partner.

It doesn't hurt to include that information, even though it is not required as such .I do provide them where the sponsor is a permanent resident ( rather than a citizen) to show that the sponsor is “ usually resident” in Australia.

No. I was not employed when i did the sponsoring.

Some sponsors are on unemployment benefits, etc.

At present there are no income requirements for the sponsor of a partner visa.

Hello, I am newbie here. I have the same doubt as well. We also plan to submit our partner visa this week and my time is almost expiring here coz' my visitor visa will expire on 30th November. I was worried because we cannot supply that much of a financial documents. Like what you mentioned at present there are no income requirements made me now want to submit our partner visa asap. If you don't mind me asking do you currently work now? If you already have, did you submit your payslip already or attached any financial requirements?

I am so sorry for silly questions. Hope to hear from you

No. Never had to submit income requirements as a sponsor, and we went through the 300, 820 and 801 all the way to PR grant without any income proofs.

Wow? really? Thanks heaps for your response. May I also know if you have submitted your police clearance and medical all at once? Did your partner also submit the same time together with your application?
