While you claim your defacto date from x, you say you have known each other from Y.
So they are asking for evidence of your claim. That's not unreasonable.
.
Itís hard to comment further without actually seeing the request letter and the evidence already provided.

But I agree that it certainly wonít hurt to provide a summary and clarification in regards to evidence already provided and add anything relevant that has not previously been provided.

It is always a good idea to use a Registered Migration Agent.
Don't ask the barber whether you need a haircut!

but Nick is right.

I have seen applicants throw $180k down the drain, because they would not pay a modest consultation fee.

The worst that can happen by letting a RMA check your s56 letter and advise you is that you would pay a consultation fee and if the RMA could not offer you useful advice, you might not be asked to pay anything.

Please update your flag here .

Thanks guys! I took it negatively immediately and that's my bad. I'm just very worried. Like I said, we can provide statements, the photos are already there, facebook stuff among family members (our families are quite close!), but we didnt share finances and houses. We're tryna retrieve our chatlogs from 2013, but im not very helpful.

I really hope this is just them checking if I could be eligible for 801, and not because they're doubting my entire application.

Is it allowed to show you guys the request?

I have seen them posted in the past - personal particulars and CO details redacted.

THEY expect partner applicants to be living together, and if not why not, and to have 'entangled' their finances and how they have represented themselves to others.

That is if the partners are in the same country, they must be living together right? But what if one is not within the country yet but been waiting over a year for the 309, as a result arent living together yet

With the 820 partner visa, it would be unusual for them not to be living together.

Please update your flag here .

We were in de facto from 2017. Been living together since then. We were just boyfriend/girlfriend from 2013-2017. We were like 16 back then, living in different countries, and we were still students!

As mentioned in my first post, we didnt claim to have been in de facto from 2013. So no, THEY shouldnt expect us to have been living together from then.

in my case, me & my husband just opened the joint account in May this year 2019 & updated in the immi account together with a letter explaining we have been sharing money for the household & we signed the letter...we applied in jun 2018...to my understanding they need all this kind of things for the file...anything without solid or clear evidence, all we can do is write to them & explain clearly...

i hope this will help ...this is just through my experience only...maybe it can help...

thanks

- Photos with friends and family

In our application it CLEARLY states June 29 2017 as the beginning of the de facto rel.
We explained though and have given proof that that we have been romantically involved as boyfriend and girlfriend from 2013, but started living as de facto partners from 2017.

I can only give photos from when my partner was over, twice within those 4 years as we were both students. But his parents have been over thrice and I spent time with them as well. I have actually already given all these photos along with statements of our families that states our relationship.

How important is it to prove that there is relationship prior to living together because we did not write 2013 as beginning of de facto application!

What is the best way to explain this to our CO and how do I contact them?

Do you all have any advice? I am very anxious and I'm having a bad case of panic attack because of this.
Ant update on your case?
