309 Partner Visas from Philippines

Anybody recently had a grant from Philippines, or still waiting? Would you like to share your timeline?

Ours is as follows:

Lodged: March 2019
Medical: Done September 2019
Status: Received
No contact from CO so far.

Do not hold your breath.

The staff in the Manila embassy take all the Australian Xmas / New Year holidays plus all the Philippine holidays as well and often add some annual leave to it.

The current processing time for a 309 is between 17 and 21 months. If you have heard nothing after 18 months or so from your lodgement date, a polite status request might be answered, or might not be.

Status 309 Still Received

Lodged June 2018
Frontloaded everything including medical and police checks. Status still Received. No contacts whatsoever which I think is normal in most cases.

It has been a very very long wait.
