Adding spouse on 457/482

Hi,

Need some advice, I got recently married few weeks ago, my spouse is offshore. I have been told I should wait some time before going for subsequent entrant visa on 482 as it will be treated as de facto relation given i am lodging application just after marriage.

De facto period before marriage was 4 months. Pain point being that we were not living together during that period.

If you have proof of relationship(marriage certificate, your name on her passport, wedding pics) there should not be any problem.
