BVB online

I applied for a BVB online in February 2019 and received it right away - but I cannot find the link I used before - only a pdf form to upload to my immi account - I have paid for it but not it doesn't seem to be uploading

not sure what to do...my brain is melting from all the conflicting information, lack of information, lack of knowledge in how to get a simple form submitted.

Any advice? I have done a search but there are no threads on this topic newer than 2017...

In your immi account for the application there is a ‘Bridging visa information’ section. You can click the ‘apply for bridging visa’ link there.

Thank you for taking the time to answer my query paulhand. I applied for a BVB in February and there was indeed a link there:

my applications>view details>bridging visa>BV information

there was actually a link to make an application there but now it just links to the immi.homeaffairs.gov.au website, where if you patiently go through every paragraph there are 4 links to another page about the BVB on the same website.../visas/getting-a-visa/visa-listing/bridging-visa-b-020#HowTo

where there are 5 tabs, and on the step-by-step tab there are 5 steps and step # 3 advises:

Apply online
Apply for the visa online using ImmiAccount if you applied for your substantive visa through ImmiAccount and a decision has not yet been made on that application.
  1. Log in to ImmiAccount.
  2. Attach documents.
  3. Have family applications processed together and attach documents to their application.

the underlined words are hot links & if you follow the attach docs link it takes you to the page on the same website that is just a general information about making an application for anything through your immi account - /help-support/applying-online-or-on-paper/online which tells you to log into your immi account and select "new application" ....so now I am back to where I started because
there is nothing there that is specifically for a BVB

I have done a general web search and found the pdf form (1006) from the same website: /form-listing/forms/1006.pdf which states that you can complete and submit online by uploading the doc to your immi account after you pay for it on your immi account.

So I paid for it no dramas, but when I try to upload the docs I get an error message...so I asked a general question to see if someone else could explain the process to see what I missed
