Bridging visa conditions after student visa..

Hi! I am currently on student visa which will expire on May 2020. I am currently enrolled in packaged courses until January 2022. But we plan to lodge partner visa before my student visa expires.. my questions are:

1. I have been told bridging visa A will mimick the previous visa, but is it still the case if my student visa will be expired?

2. What will be the conditions of bridging visa A if my previous visa is expired?

3. Do I still have to finish my courses even if I’m on bridging visa?

Thank you for your help!

Bridging visas issued in connection with a partner visa application have nil conditions, but you need to exercise care when transitioning from a student visa, so get some professional advice if you are unsure.

If you do not finish your course and your student visa is cancelled, your bridging visa will be cancelled too and you will be in serious trouble.

As previously advised - consider taking professional advice.

Hi! Thank you for your response.
Hi. I will not cancel my student visa, it will expire May 2020. I plan to lodge partner visa April 2020, I’m enrolled to another course that’ll start January 2021, by that time I’ll be on bridging visa. Do I still need to take that?
