1445 form requiring VIC 820 office email!!

Hello,

I am urgently seeking the email address of the Victoria office that handles the 820 partnership visa, to submit my 1445 form to. Can anyone please provide me this?! I can't find it anywhere and need to submit the form asap!

Thanks,

This is the address you asked for:

[email protected]

Could you not have waited until Monday to phone 131881 to find out what to do?

Hi Wesley, I didn't know they did temporary onshore partner visas in Melbourne. I thought they were all done in QLD, WA and NSW. The email address you posted seems to suggest that they do. It is of course hard to tell nowadays as no email addresses are provided most of the time.

The OP asked for the Victorian email address and I sent what I had. It would be good practice to confirm by phoning the 'help' line. THEY can process any application anywhere. I have had 820s and other applications processed in quite unexpected places, notwithstanding the original claim that 820s were all to be processed onshore to ensure consistency (always wrong?) of decision making.

I have 820's done in Fiji and Manila ! I looked at the email addresses the MIA has in their member's section and never seen the one you posted here. That doesn't mean anything of course, they are constantly changing them and keeping them secret. The student visa processing email addresses are all over the place as well. There is no consistency in them at all.

Thank you so much! The reason it's urgent is because the form asks that I submit it with at least 2 weeks left on my 6 months working at a company, which was Friday. My company has dragged their feet writing my recommendation letter for 3 weeks now and finally gave to me at the very last second. I probably could have gotten away with sending it Monday but didn't want to have it rejected on a technicality..

Hey Nick - I'll submit to Vic, Qld and NSW ones and let you know which one ends up processing it.

Following up, I submitted to all three yesterday, and both the qld and nsw approved it in less than 24 hr! didn't hear back from the Vic one but it appears it doesn't matter which one you send it to.
