Question How much time it takes to take action on report submitted to AUS IMMI. & ABF?

Hi there,

The scenario is,
my wife is in Australia on a student visa and lied on visa application that she is single/never married in the influence of her mother as we had a love marriage. Once she reached there, she re-married to me after some time. She sent the information to Immigration and filed spouse visa. within 15 days she asked me to withdraw the visa and end the relation, again her family influence as I got calls from them.

I withdraw the application but I said no to end the relationship as marriage is included and asked for reason. she had nothing to say. but she came to home country as I did not agree to get separated, and filed a false case in court that she is single and never married anyone and marriage certificates are availed from fraud, etc.

Now, how some one can be married in Australia and single in home country?

Lying on visa application and twisting the facts as per own requirement, isn't an offence and crime?

I have reported to both Aus Immi. & ABF but still there is no action or an inquiry? What is avg timeframe for taking actions in Australia?

Due to the provisions of the privacy act you would not be informed about any action taken.

What he means is its about your wife's visa. Not yours. You supply the information and unless they contact you for anything that is the end of it.
Your wife would know if/when they act as it is her visa

You can't. You are either married or you are not. Do you have a marriage certificate?

It might be an offence, that can cause a visa refusal. (Anyone supplying misleading information or submitting fraudulent documents could now face a ten-year exclusion period for lodging another application.)

It only takes one side to get a separation.

Your situation does sound confusing.

Is it her visa application or yours? Only the visa applicant will be notified by immigration.

Yes, I have two marriage certficates as first she married and provided false statement so we re-married again and got second certificate.

It is about her visa as she is in Aus on Student visa.

As per our marriage act in India, no other country can finalize the divorce when it is contested and even if they finalize it won't get recognition in India as it is invalid as per HMA (one of marriage act).

I would like to know the timeframe only when Aus Authorities starts acting on such report.

That can vary enormously, but only the visa applicant will hear anything. Third parties might supply information, but won't be told what is happening.

The applicant will hear only when Immigration decide to act on information received. That could be at visa decision time.

She is on Student visa and it's been almost 1.5 years she is in Australia. She had two trips during 1.5 years first to get marry to me and second to file a suit in India.
