Appropriateness of proof for 820?

Hi everyone,

For proof of our relationship, my partner and I will upload pictures of our decorated "Adventure book". One of the pictures in the book is of us kissing. Similarly, in a homemade notebook that I made for him, there is some intimate stuff that I would like to leave out.

The pages in the Adventure book are numbered, and in the notebook also, so it will be clear that we didn't include everything.

If I leave out some pages will that be ok for the immigration? I was thinking of putting a note that says: "pages so and so are left out because of intimate content", but I am not sure if that is necessary/appropriate. I just don't want it to seem like we are hiding something if we leave stuff out.

I definitely want to include these two pieces of evidence as they show how much we love each other.

Help is very much appreciated.

Thank you,

Daisy

In my wife's PMV application, we included a PDF with a very long list of Whatsapp chats. THey lasted for three years so we only put some selected extracts. THe PDF started with an explanation that we were only giving extracts because otherwise it would be too long and also because some of the interactions were too private.

Her visa was accepted. So obviously they did not mind that we cut part of the document.

You are doing the right thing if you cut some pages but you explain them why. THe case officer is a human being and they read what you write to them. If you explain why something is omitted they will take it into account.

There were other documents the case officer requested that we did not have so instead we wrote letter explaining why we don't have them. And the visa was granted.

So if our case is any indication, you can get away with not sending a doc as long as instead you send a letter explaining why, and as long as this explanation convinces them.
