Ms

Hello everyone,

Me and my partner are in 485 visa and it is going to expire on 16th Feb 2020. My partner is also trying to apply for 482 visa but we are in dilemma if it is a good idea to do so. As it is uncertain if the visa outcome will be positive. We have other option which is student visa ( I was a primary applicant of 485). He wants to pursue his Masters degree here. But the problem is we donot have much time left. What happens if we apply for both visas? Does the visa outcome of one overrides the other?

Please suggest what is the best option.
Thank you everyone.
