Overseas police check from a country in which I lived for 11 months and 27 days

Hi all, first time posting but long time reader

My wife and I are applying for PR and we are wondering if we need to provide an Overseas police check from when my wife lived in the USA for 11 months and 27 days. It says only from 12 months or more in the checklist, but we are worried that immi would ask given that it is almost 12 months, not because she has any police record but because of the bourocratic process to get the police check from the USA.

Thanks for your help!

Ari

You might as well provide it. Or wait to be asked

I saw someone else, who had been just under the 12 months, being asked for that, a year after application.

I would personally get one and submit it.

I visited the US for business/tourism multiple times and it totaled to more than 90 days so I got an FBI clearance before I submitted my PR application.

It took a month to get the FBI clearance..you can risk to wait for CO to request you (which he may or may not do so).. but if I were you I would lean on the side of caution and just get the clearance anyhow.
