WorkExp calculation for visa 189 skilled independent visa

I am applying for 189 skilled independent visa.

I Have
  • Australian Masters degree in Information technology
  • 1 year - Australian part work exp in IT as a student 20hrs per week
  • 0.5 year - Australian full-time work exp in IT
  • Bachelours degree Overseas
  • 1.8 years Work exp Overseas - Obtained after completing Bachelours and before Australian Masters

I wanted to know how will my work experience be calculated for getting points in visa 189, do I need an evaluation from ACS, how much workex will it deduct?

Read ACS guidelines.

Part time employment is not considered. You will not get work exp from overseas exp.

The ACS count relevant work experience undertaken at any time. Check the ACS website for full details. Immigration count work experience undertaken post qualification.
