subclass 143 timeline

Good Afternoon Everyone,
I applied for my mother's 143 visa in March 2016 and the case officer was allocated in Jan 2020(after 46 months). He requested for more information to finalise the application. We have submitted everything from the checklist nearly a month ago. Centrelink also forwarded them the Acceptance letter for Assurance of support on 24th of February 2020. we didn't hear anything from the department for more than 3 weeks of completion of all the documents. when I rang the immigration number, they informed me the next step should be the request for 2nd VAC if the case officer is satisfied with all the documents.
My mother is in Australia on a visitor visa at the moment and her 1 year stay will finish by 2nd of april. We were hoping to get her 143 visa finalised before that but for some reason, the progress got pretty much stagnant.
Could anyone please share their experience about the timeline for 143 after all the documents are supplied to the department including AOS approval letter.
Any useful information would be much appreciated.
Thanks everyone for their kind attention.
Cheers !
