Prospective marriage visa to partner visa

Hello Guys,

I applied for a prospective marriage visa in August 2019. We got married in February 2020. A case officer was assigned in March 2020. I didn't upload marriage certificate by the time case officer was assigned but I uploaded it after that. While he asked for documents like plac of marriage in Australia.

As I uploaded my wedding certificate now my Visa should be considered as partner visa 309. I would like to know if I have to withdraw my application from prospective partner visa or let it to be?

Thank you,
Best regards,
Rohit Jakhar

Get some professional help ... you have got into a mess by getting married. It can be fixed, but it needs to be done properly.

You don't need to withdraw your application. They can convert it to 309 upon request. The only difference is that by not waiting for 300 your partner has to remain offshore.
.
As for not informing the processing office immediately maybe a good MRA can advise but remember and you can reconfirm with the case officer you don't have to withdraw your application at all.

Note this section “When you notify us of your marriage, you should also let us know you want to withdraw your Prospective Marriage visa application. If you don’t withdraw your application, we will refuse it as you no longer meet the visa criteria.”
