Question Finance Evidence Question - Partner Visa 820

For our Financial evidence we only have two documents so far:
- proof of our joint account
- various finance evidence all in one pdf, clear, neat, with headings
(proof of us buying things for each other, hotel reservations, proof of me sending money to my partner in the past to pay for a plane ticket, proof of him paying for our bills and rent for now, proof of my opal card being on his opal account, screenshots of an app we used to manage our money)

Our new agent (a great one this time!) told me that we do lack financial evidence and to keep uploading new evidence as it comes later on (which we will certainly do).

So my question is should I split the second document so it looks like we have 3 documents instead of 2 uploaded or does it matter at all?

Thank you very much!

Daisy

When you talk about the number of documents, it should be the actual number of documents, not the number of uploaded combined documents. You appear to have more than 3 documents so far, even if done in 2 file uploads.

If you can combine as many similar documents together as one file for upload it is best, rather than split them. You need to keep the numbers of file uploads to a minimum, so you don't run out of allowance.

One upload for each category, with all relevant documents, would probably be ideal for an immigration officer to look at.

That might be best to begin with, but continue to upload more during the process as you get new proofs.

Thanks very much, that helps a lot!
