Partner visa offshore (109/309) how long to enter

Hello. So I wish to start the application soon for the partner visa from Washington D.C. Once the visa is issued how long do you have to enter the country?

Normally the initial entry date is one year from the date of your police or medical check, whichever is earlier. The travel (entry) rights on the visa last for 5 years from the date the visa is granted.
