Smile PMV First time Posting

My fiancÚ (American) and I are at the very beginning of filling out our PMV forms. Any advice and recommendations would be so much appreciated.

He had a tripped planned for 3 weeks in April 2020 to Australia, of course we were devastated like many who couldn't see their loves. Given the circumstances with the border closures what recommendations does everyone have with submitting and when? Can my fiancÚ travel to Australia (once borders open) while the visa is being processed?
My divorce will be finalised July 2020 and his is yet to proceed.
Is there any advice that can be shared to successfully fill the forms out without too much stress? I have a bad habit of overthinking the smallest details ugh.
Thankyou everyone I appreciate your advice
Have a wonderful day

May I suggest that you consult one of the registered migration agents who posts on this forum for advice about strategy?

There is a sticky thread with the contact details of the migration agents (including Westly, above) who post regularly on the forum. All of them are well-qualified and experienced to be able to assist.
