Canvassing opinion on a " Information Sticky"

I would like to get peoples thoughts on the possibility of an, "Information Sticky" to be placed at the top of the topic items, similar to that of the Registered Migration Agent .
Those of us that have been members for a long time would realise that the same set of questions are asked repeatedly.
I am not suggesting that it be a step by step guide, rather I was thinking of a collection of URLs that could take people to the relevant pages for things such as Current Visa Processing Times, etc.
I was thinking that it may assist those newcomers who have little or no idea of how convoluted, tedious and prolonged the visa processing is normally, let alone during the current pandemic.
I realise that even the official sites make pointless statements such as " figures unavailable due to low number of applications", which is probably Departmental language for " we are not processing these visas", but hopefully things will return to normal by 2021.
I welcome your comments.

There use to be a number of "sticky" topics. Some were useful but they can soon be out of date and links no longer open.

But certainly a few sticky's could help on the common issues - a good one would be the bridging visa after a partner visa application, in particular from a student visa.

The pit falls of a Bridging Visa E another area.

Q: how long does it take to get the visa?
A: no one can tell

Q: I uploaded docs before the categories appear; does it matter?
A: no, plenty did the same and they had their visa

Q: what income should I have to bring my partner?
A: income is irrelevant

Thats the three I have seen the most here.

I think this is a good idea, as long as information kept current, as ampk says. That could be a challenge if there is a lot of different things. Links to commonly needed websites pages would be a good idea.

That said, my experience is that people will ask the same questions even if there is a sticky with the answer!

Absolutely worth a try, but my experience is that people do not read instructions on forms, will not use web-links provided for Australian Police Certificates, but google it instead and generally do not reads stickies or FAQs either.

But it sure won't hurt to give it a go.
