801 Visa Sponsor Statutory Declaration

Hello,

Forgive me if this has already been answered elsewhere, I couldn't find an answer. My question is about the 801 Statutory Declaration for the partner visa by the sponsor (me). Given that all of the descriptions on the stat dec are the same as those that are on the online application, can I fill it in with exactly the same information?

Thank you

I don't know if there is an official stance on that, but I would imagine immigration wants to hear from both parties, so we each wrote our thing.

Hi AngelitaS,

The Stat Dec should be as detailed as possible and in the application form you can provide a summary of the stat dec because of the word limit (if that makes sense).

Hope this helps.

If you are lodging online, statutory declaratons are not needed.

I am really confused. Even online, no where we have to make a declaration? Not even as a attachment>?

When we did the 801, we didn't do an online bit for the sponsor. Just did the Sponsors Stat Dec.

The applicant did similar statements on the relevant sections of her online application.

But obviously worded differently, being done by two different people.

So??

For the sponsor: Just do the Sponsors Stat Dec, No other online application.

For the applicant: Start a new online application & fill in FOUR aspects online questions like did for 820/309.

Apart from that FOUR aspects questions, for 801/100, do we (both the sponsor & the applicant) need to do another Relationship Statement like we did for 820/309?

Thanks!
