Second Stage Police Check

Hey everyone,

I looked around a little for this answer, and even on the DHA website and couldn't quite get an answer, hoping for a little guidance here.

Just finishing up the 100 portion of our visa. Currently living overseas and on to police checks. I know I will have to provide an AFP, but will I have to get another Canadian police check as a part of this?

Just for context here, we were in Australia June 2018 to December 2019. We have been back in Canada since.
Thanks.

Possibly, at the discretion of the delgate. You might as well get it done to avoid a request for it.

That's what I was thinking. It's $65, they have outside of work hours as well.

Thanks, Westly.

Do it! We forgot to front load and they RFI'd for my hubby. They also granted the 100 the day after we uploaded so was nice and quick
