Domestic Violence Provision?

Hi everyone.

I am on a bridging A, and waiting for 820 to be granted. My partner and I have been together for 2 years and a half. I lodged my 820 June 2019. But my partner and I broke up due to the domestic violence that I suffered. He was very controlling, he has called me bad names, physically stopped me from leaving, threatened to kill himself if I leave him, took all of our savings from our joint account and threatened to cancel my visa and I'll be sent back to the country I am from..

I gave up my life and came to Australia to be with him, and I finally started to call Australia my home and now I have no idea what is going to happen to me which is really scary..

I've spoken to a migration agent in person and he thinks my case is a bit weak, and there are not much information about it online.. Well it makes sense, it should be confidential.

So I was wondering if there's anyone went through what I've gone through that is willing to help me getting more information? Like how the process was? I just couldn't stop thinking and worrying about it...

Any help would be much appreciated.. Thank you

DV claims are difficult to substantiate to the satisfaction of the minister.
There is a considerable amount of information available from PAM3, which is availble from a subscription service ($800). This is policy, not law and does not address crucial issues. For useful information you might be better off looking up legal cases to see which applications succeeded, or did not, and why. There are common reasons.
