801 Employment Section Question

Hi everyone,

My husband and I have started the application for our 801 visa.

Under the employment section, we are unsure if to put his freelance/“side hustle”

He does some gardening work for a few people in our neighbourhood about once a month or so for a small fee ($20-50).

Would if he appropriate to list this? It’s not “official” employment, more of something he does to help out our neighbours and earn a little spare cash.

Also do we need to provide new passport photos for the 801 application?

Thank you in advance for any advice,

Sarah.

It depends if he is declaring it as income to the ATO. If no then don't put it if yes then put it.

We didn't provide passport photos for the 801.

Just wondering if the sponsor has to fill out any online application for 801/100 visa? Thanks!

All we did was the sponsors stat dec, nothing was required online for the sponsor.

Thanks! By the way, I just noticed some people mention the relationship statement here, did you submit one for your 801?

We have done that with our 309, but not sure if we need to submit it for 100.

I thought for 801/100 there were just FOUR aspects questions required for both the applicant and the sponsor.

For the sponsor, we just did the Sponsor Stat Dec for the 801, which is, I feel, effectively a relationship statement. The form only has a small space, so we attached an extra statement covering those aspects.

Sorry to interject, but does my husband need to complete one of these stat decs too? Or just me, his sponsor?
