Vetassess Appeal

Positive advice would be greatly appreciated in my matter. I received a negative result from my Vetassess application. I would like to appeal. Two aspects of my application they felt was lacking and in hindsight probably so due to my misunderstanding. The first is lack of employment evidence. This I can rectify as they request evidence of 20 hours minimum work per week I my field. Being in this industry for 23 years of which 13 are as a self employed sole proprietor. The second negative which is where I require any advice greatly appreciated. My qualifications as a Driving Instructor. I was trained by a Driving School where I then attended examination at the Department of Transport. The DOT in South Africa does not have a training facility. Your instructors certificate is issued annually after each re-written assessment exam. They supply test manuals which are electronic. I have contacted SAQA (SA qualification association) who informed me they do not assess or train instructors. I then contacted TETA (Transport Education Training Association) who said they train advanced instructors, truck, train etc. Not driving instructors. They also said to qualify for TETA one has to have a list of criteria which is for a business set up and not a sole proprietor. How would I submit an appeal to vetassess without this? Would work evidence of more than 5 year's be an option? I would also like to understand the process a little more as I know once arriving in Australia I would be required to re-do my training to qualify in my field there which I anticipate and am happy to do.
Thank you in advance.

“VETASSESS Skills Assessment applications require an assessment of both qualifications and employment against the criteria for your nominated occupation. Post secondary educational qualifications are mandatory in order to gain a positive skills assessment. Highly relevant employment cannot compensate for lack of qualification at the required educational level for the nominated occupation. “

For this occupation, if the qualification is at a certain level, it does not need to be ‘highly relevant’ if you have skilled experience.
