Try submitting a complaint to the department of home affairs. Just explain that your situation and that you don't want to be their sponsor any longer and the visa was granted on untruthful/innacurate grounds. They should respond to you relatively quickly, and it shouldn't be a generic response.

If they are unable to help you I'm sure they can point you towards someone who can.

Why do you care? You broke up with him, how does it matter if he has a visa or not? Just ignore him.

This forum is full of men with accents, some of them even has been fooled by australian women. You remark is xenophobic and extremely offensive.

If you read any of the previous conversation you would see that she is the sponsor, and therefore has some liability when it comes to the successful applicant...

Right, you don't know me at all. I was born here but my parents are Malaysian. It was merely a joke about how i find I'm attracted to certain accents and it would be easier than going through sponsoring his visa. Don't turn it into something it's not because you have some personal issues.

When i called immi they said there actually are implications for me being his sponsor when the relationship was not genuine at time of being granted. I also could not sponsor my current partner if we got serious as im already sponsoring my ex.

You would need a RMA to clarify that though.
This is correct - 5 years from 1st application to 2nd decision.

Get a guy closer to home from South East Asia like Singapore,Indonesia or Phillipines. Good people . Salt of the Earth. And you can buy a place & land etc cheaper and live in tropical paradise while you wait for you visas. ᕙ(☉ਊ☉)ᕗ

.
If someone made a joke about Asian women you would have had every right to be offended and I would have been the first to support you. You are even more in a position to understand why what you said what not funny and was offensive.

I think you're being a bit OTT and distracting. The joke wasn't about gender, both males and females can find accents annoying/attractive in prospective partners. Because I hate vegemite, do I hate Australia?
