BVE COVID-19 Situation

Hey everyone...

Me and partner applied for 820 few months ago. Currently I am on 500 until 2023. (yes I know)

Before we applied, I been considering to cancel my 500 and go to BVE but after lots of research and suggestion from this forum, I stand on my ground and try to s*ck it up (after all it was my choice to take 4 years study).

Anyway, this covid-19 situation struck and I had been stood down since April with no light in the end of the tunnel. I tried to apply jobs and still no luck. Plus second outbreak now in Melbourne and Sydney.. And I guessing that majority of companies prefer to prioritize citizens and PRs first...

Now I stuck with no income, bills keep coming and student fees on my head. Can't go back home because I have my responsibilities here (partner, cat and household). Lucky for me, my partner does not mind to keep me going with his income but I know he can not afford my bills much longer..

I wonder if canceling 500 and go with BVE is better choice in this situation? I mean I can not go back home and can not work. News said expect situation like this until 2021..

Any thoughts?
