485 english test extra time COVID-19

Hi,

I'm about to apply for the 485 post study work visa. The visa requires an English test, however, if you're affected by Corona you are given additional time to provide your English test results. As officially stated "additional time will be given for applicants to provide English language results where COVID-19 has disrupted access to these services". Source: https://minister.homeaffairs.gov.au/...lian-jobs.aspx

This is great because I'm in Melbourne where lockdown restrictions are preventing me from getting my English test done. However, besides this short piece of information I'm unable to find more details on this particular visa change. For example, how much additional time is given?

I would also like to know how this works in practice when it comes to the application. Will the application simply allow me to skip the English test result section and let me upload my evidence at a later date? Do I need a statement that proves that I'm unable to get my English test done due to the current lockdown restrictions?

Any help is greatly appreciated,
Suzanne

Is there an update on this?

I read the announcement from July when they said they will give extra time for finishing English exams.

But that was just a press release. Have they actually made the amendments yet pertaining to the English requirement?
