Partner Visa Processing Times Released August 2020

These are the official times quoted by Australian Immigration, for the Partner visas finalised in July and June 2020, with July 2019 for comparison.

Last updated: 19 August 2020 (for month of July 2020).

Offshore Prospective Marriage Visa (subclass 300) Processing Times in 2020.
Jul 2020: 16-29 = 75% took up to 16 months. 10% took over 29 Months.
Jun 2020: 16-18 = 75% took up to 16 months. 10% took over 18 Months. (5 grants in month).
May 2020: Processing times are not available. (3 grants in month).
Apr 2020: Processing times are not available. (0 grants)
Jul 2019: 15-22 = 75% took up to 15 months. 10% took over 22 months.
Very few 300s are being granted

Partner Offshore Provisional Visa (subclass 309) Processing Times in 2020.
Jul 2020: 15-20 = 75% took up to 15 months. 10% took over 20 months.
Jun 2020: 16-22 = 75% took up to 16 months. 10% took over 22 Months.
Jul 2019: 15-20 = 75% took up to 15 months. 10% took over 20 months.
309s are the same times as they were in July 2019.

Partner Onshore Temporary visa (subclass 820) Processing Times in 2020.
Jul 2020: 20-25 = 75% took up to 20 months. 10% took over 25 months.
Jun 2020: 19-24 = 75% took up to 19 months. 10% took over 24 months.
Jul 2019: 21-28 = 75% took up to 21 months. 10% took over 28 months.
820s are faster than they were in July 2019.

Partner Offshore Permanent visa (subclass 100) Processing Times in 2020.
Jul 2020: 20-24 = 75% took up to 20 months. 10% took over 24 months.
Jun 2020: 12-23 = 75% took up to 12 months. 10% took over 23 months.
Jul 2019: 21-28 = 75% took up to 21 months. 10% took over 28 months.
100s are faster than July 2019.

Partner Onshore Permanent visa (subclass 801) Processing Times in 2020.
Jul 2020: 13-25 = 75% took up to 13 months. 10% took over 25 months.
Jun 2020: 7-17 = 75% took up to 7 months. 10% took over 17 months.
Jul 2019: 19-25 = 75% took up to 19 months. 10% took over 25 months.
801s are faster than July 2019.

Some actual grants..

I have seen one subclass 300 finalised in July.
300 Finalised after 15.6 months, from Zimbabwe
From the above figures, at least another one was granted that took about 29 months.

I have seen SIX subclass 820s finalised in July.
820 Finalised after 7.4 months, from Russia. (18.1 months after PMV Application.).
820 Finalised after 1.3 months, from Philippines. (25.2 months after PMV Application.).
820 Finalised after 11 months, from ?.
820 Finalised after 11.3 months, from ?.
820 Finalised after 19 months, from Indonesia.
820 Finalised after 22.7 months, from Papua New Guinea. Direct to 801


I have seen SIX subclass 801s finalised in July.
801 Finalised 1.8 months after eligible, from Zimbabwe. (25.8 months after 820 application date. )
801 Finalised 0.6 months after eligible, from Malaysia. (24.6 months after 820 application date. )
801 Finalised 5.5 months after eligible, from Singapore. (29.5 months after 820 application date. )
801 Finalised 12 months after eligible, from Philippines. (46 months after PMV application date. )
801 Finalised 5 months after eligible, from ?. (42 months after PMV application date. )
801 Finalised 0 months after eligible, from Papua New Guinea. (22.7 months after 820 application date. )

I have seen TWO subclass 309s finalised in July.
309 Finalised after 14.2 months. Passport: India. Processed at: Pretoria.
309 Finalised after 17.5 months. Passport: Nigeria. Processed at: Pretoria.

I have seen one subclass 100 finalised in July.
100 finalised 29.1 months after 309 application date. Passport: Canada. Processed at: ?

100 finalised 29.1 months after 309 application date. Passport: Canada. Processed at: ?

The Canadian guy Eh? Lol. I remember him saying his temp visa was processed in Canada and the 100 was processed from Queensland.

That was me. 309 processed in Ottawa, 100 in Queensland.
